CALL 1-800-SALVI (2021) length: 19 mins
“CALL 1-800-SALVI” is a docu-narrative short which follows me on my search for queer Salvadorian-Canadians living in Tkaronto (Toronto). I’m a New Yawker who relocated to Tkaronto in July 2020. As a queer Salvadorian-American, I set out to look for queer Salvadorian community in Tkaronto in the midst of a pandemic. I meet and instantly hit it off with two queer and leftist radical Salvadorian-Canadian artists, Irma Villafuerte & Jessica Zepeda aka SINVERGUENZILLA.
